COPECO decreed yellow alert for the next 72 hours on Gracias a Dios and Green Alert for Atlantida and the Bay Islands
The north coast is being affected due to the high pressure that is in the Eastern region, which will cause a rain fall of 100 millimeters during 48 hours that started yesterday. This precipitation can cause the overflowing of rivers and mudslides according to a bulletin from COPECO.

The rest of the national territory will be experiencing some strong winds, temperature drop, abundant cloudiness and some dispersed rains. It is suggested for the population to protect themselves from these low temperatures that will be experienced during nights and early morning, especially kinds and the elderly.
COPECO also recommends keeping watch over the evolution of this phenomenon, activating the local emergency comities to be prepared in the case of any evacuations where shelter and human assistance is needed.

Winds of 48 kilometers per hour are expected around the country, this will cause the temperature to drop down to 20 degrees.
