Inter Milan signed Honduras striker David Suazo from Cagliari on a four-year contract Tuesday.
The 27-year-old player will be unveiled Wednesday at Inter’s training facility near Como, the club said in a statement.
Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
Suazo, who scored 44 goals in 108 Serie A games with Cagliari, joins a talented roster of forwards at league champion Inter, including Hernan Crespo, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Adriano.
Uruguay striker Alvaro Recoba is expected to leave Inter following Suazo’s arrival.
