The sailing of the MV Hafentor V.83 on 24/5/06, from the Port of New Orleans will mark the inaugural sailing of Seaboard’s direct service from the Port of New Orleans to the to NCA region (Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua, El Salvador).
The Hafentor will join the Seaboard Explorer and Fortunia in providing direct weekly liner service to the ports of Santo Tomas, Guatemala and Puerto Cortez, Honduras.
The three ships service will also provide twice a week direct northbound liner service from the port of Santo Tomas and Puerto Cortez to New Orleans.
The ships will sail from New Orleans every Monday arriving in Santo Tomas on Fridays and Puerto Cortez on Thursday.
Northbound direct sailings from NCA will be twice a week. Transit times to New Orleans will be four days from Santo Tomas and three days from Puerto Cortez.
Santo Tomas sailings: Wednesday arriving New Orleans Sunday, Friday arriving New Orleans Tuesday
Puerto Cortez sailings: Thursday arriving New Orleans Sunday, Saturday arriving New Orleans Tuesday
